Pastor Joseph

Praise God! I was called to start a home fellowship in 2005 with two families in my house. In 2009 members were added and my house was too small to accommodate the fellowship. We moved out and built a temporary structure which my father burned down, chasing us away for he only allowed Seventh day Adventist on his soil. We went and hired a place and extended a structure that had been a shop. By this time we now had 33 members.
Our Church has many challenges. We have no land and have to pay rent from a small income. Please pray for us to get some means of transport, some Church members come from far away, and my wife and I go out to reach them. When we go to evangelize in other areas we have no public address system, Bibles in our language, or chairs. We also struggle to hire a motorcycle and buy fuel to reach those who are far with the gospel. Sometimes when it rains it is very muddy.
We also need more training to know more about the gospel to the interior. I only have a theology certificate, my assistant Pastor is not trained, and others need to be trained for the work of the Lord.

Our vision is to fulfill the great commission as commanded by our Lord in Mark 16:15, adhering to a good and acceptable doctrine of our Lord (James 1:27).
My brother's wife died in 2006 leaving 4 children. My brother married another woman and disappeared with her leaving behind suffering children. My wife and I decided to take the children and care for them. In 2007 after post election violence, my wife went to the market where she took 3 kids who were being offloaded from a truck whose parents had perished. We have taken in and care for other children after seeing how much they suffer after their parents died of HIV. Others are from single parents who are in total poverty.
We help the children through small scale farming, Church, and well wishers. Right now we care for 21 children in total plus our own 4 biological children. But we don't meet their physical needs. Please, we request well wishers to lay their hands of prayer and support for these suffering kids. Our emergency need right now is nutritional food, clothing, better shelter, and school fees. May God bless you as you consider the orphans (Acts 20:35).

Our long term goals for the kids is to uplift the standard and condition of their future life, bringing long term hope for them as they are raised up in the Christian faith.
I am the bread winner of my family and for the orphans. I do manual jobs to earn a living which sometimes I can't because of caring for the orphans. I get small support through well wishers of our Church and small scale farming. I struggle and squeeze very much to prepare and deliver the gospel. It is very challenging.
We are praying for God's will to be done.
May God Bless You.
